NorthorbeEaten-Aedan

Grey Fang.
Cave Blat.
These are both creatures that I drew, from my dad's (Andrew Peterson) books, the WingFeather Saga. They are amazing books, and I highly recommend them. Check them out here.

  1. Aedan, your Dad is right! You are a really good artist! Keep up the good work. Be encouraged and know that you're using your gift really smartly. I look forward to seeing what else you'll be drawing in the future.

  4. I'm Mara and I'm 11 yrs. old. I love the books and i get so inspired by them. I'd love to see what Podo or Nia looks like. I'm begging my dad for the third book and we're on the fourth chapter of "North! Or be eaten."

  5. I am thrilled that you enjoy the books and I hope you like our blog. Maybe Me, Cooper, or, Morgan could draw more stuff from the book.

    Thanks, Aedan.

  8. Hi, Aedan!

Both drawings are lovely, but that Grey Fang is a bit too scary for me. I can gaze at the cave blat longer, and I think it's great! I love the wings especially, and the velvety-looking fur. It looks like bat or hamster fur. Have you ever held a bat? They are so interesting to examine up close.

Keep up the good work! It's wonderful to see how God's creativity is expressed through each of us in so many different ways! By the way, my kids like to draw scenes and characters and creatures from the Wingfeather books, too.

Hey, I recommend your dad's books (and music) to everyone, too. Even though you don't know me, your family has been a blessing to me!

    Thanks!
    Marsha

  15. Hey Aedan! My dad told me that YOUR dad is making a fourth book! Is it true? I'm overcome with joy to think that there are still more books to read ahead of me. I'm so depressed because Tink was taken by the Black Carriage. But that's good, cause' good books give you feelings, right? I'm so excited to read more.

  17. Hey, Aeden.
I really like the sketch of the Grey Fang in the tree...and the notch out of the sword. This may sound really dumb, but the notch is my favorite part. It shows that he doesn't care about how he fights, or in what manner he goes about using his deadly and dastardly implement of death. When you fight, you NEVER hit edge on, which makes it sound like he doens't care a wit about what happens to his sword..
I know, I am a sword geek, but I love to draw and sutdy them.
