The Ruins of Naroth: Final Assemblage and Tight Drawing

I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in awhile.  This might have been the craziest past few months of my life!
The final digital assemblage.
Final drawing.
I am very pleased with how the final drawing turned out.  The composition works, I think.  Now, I trying to figure out how to color it.  I'm most comfortable using watercolors and digital.  But I don't think the paper I used for the final drawing is strong enough.  Suggestions?

  1. Glad to finally see this finished, Aedan! I think your digital work has turned out quite well in the past, but I don't really do much color work myself. I do think it would be quite awesome if you could get some very dynamic dark/light shadow patterns in it–adding to the potential sinisterness of the forest. Anyway, great work.

  2. This is really cool! I really like how long the troll guy's arms are.
You could try colored pencil, but it isn't very smooth looking.

  3. You have a lot of those drawings of that girl and....What should I call that thing? I think he's cute
