Dog the Bear

Here's a piece I did for a website called Story Warren.  You should check it out.  The poem is great.

  1. The poem is quite entertaining, and I love the art–I take it it was done with pencil, then enhanced digitally?

Heather: I wasn't tearing down the poem. Honestly, I really, really liked it! It was early in the morning, and all of the back and forth between Dog and Bear the bear and dog got to my head, and was a little confusing. It was poor brain function on my part. (I'm usually locked out of my mind palace until 8am.) Sorry if I seemed mean.

Aedan: Comment battles about poems and my brain on your blog. :) You're a good sport, to put up with us... Just saying.

  9. in the words of
Oskar .N. Reteep: Goodness! He's deleted my commentate speech!

P.S. I honestly don't know if Mr. Reteep EVER said that, but I'm sure he would if he lived in Estes Park CO in 2014, in a huge green house on the edge of town.

  10. Not to fill your blog with my comments or anything, but I just watched a movie that I thought you might appreciate! It's called The Secret Of Kells! And it's an old Irish tale about an AWESOME book! It has amazing artwork and the way they animate is wonderfully creative! Sorry for the many many comments! Thanks!

  12. This is fantastic! I am very fond of your poem, and you managed to capture the humor of the name-changing without muddling the whole thing.
Also, and I know this is an odd request, but can I contact you somehow concerning some writing that I would like to have critiqued?
I'll give you my email address.
